Pushpa 2 Joins ₹1,600 Crore Club, Becomes 3rd Top Indian Grosser.

Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, directed by Sukumar, continues its remarkable box office run.

The film is setting new benchmarks, particularly in its Hindi version, which has been unstoppable. On its 18th day since release, Sunday, December 22, the movie earned ₹33.25 crore, surpassing expectations.

According to Shocknilk, a platform tracking box office collections, the film collected an impressive ₹72.3 crore over its third weekend. This amount is more than the opening collections of several major films.

The breakdown of weekend collections includes ₹33.25 crore on Sunday, ₹24.75 crore on Saturday, and ₹14.3 crore on Friday. With these numbers, Pushpa 2 has reached ₹1,062.9 crore in total domestic collections.

Industry experts confirm that the film has officially surpassed the ₹1,040 crore record set by Baahubali 2 in 2017, a milestone that remained unbroken for seven years.

Global Success

Globally, Pushpa 2 has crossed the ₹1,600 crore mark, securing its position as the third-highest-grossing Indian film. It follows Dangal (₹2,000 crore+) and Baahubali 2 (₹1,790 crore). With the ongoing holiday season between Christmas and New Year, trade analysts predict further growth in its collections.
Impact of the Hindi Version

The Hindi version of Pushpa 2 has played a pivotal role in its success. Its phenomenal performance is reportedly affecting the release schedules of Hindi films in northern states. Theater owners are reluctant to replace Pushpa 2 with new releases, sparking debates within the industry.
