Crime Thriller Suzhal Returns with Aishwarya Rajesh
Aishwarya Rajesh is keeping busy with films and web series. In Tamil cinema, her name stands out for female-led stories, following stars like Nayanthara and Trisha. Her web series performances have also been widely praised. One of her most popular series is Suzhal: The Vortex, a crime thriller.
Suzhal Season 1, which streamed in 2022, was a huge hit. The series was directed by Bramma and Anucharan and had eight episodes. It starred Aishwarya Rajesh along with Kathir, Gouri Kishan, Manjima Mohan, and Harish Uthaman.
The story begins with a fire at a cement factory. The union leader, Shanmugam, is suspected of causing it. At the same time, Shanmugam’s youngest daughter, Neel, is found dead in a lake with her lover. Everyone thinks it was a suicide, but Neel’s sister, played by Aishwarya Rajesh, investigates and discovers the truth.
Now, the second season of Suzhal is set to release. Reports say Suzhal Season 2 will stream on Amazon Prime Video starting February 21. The plot for Season 2 has not been revealed yet, but fans are excited to see what happens next.
