Shankar Thanks Ram Charan and Dil Raju for ‘Game Changer’ Collaboration
Rajahmundry – Speaking at the pre-release event of the film Game Changer held in Rajahmundry, renowned director Shankar shared his thoughts on his first direct Telugu project. Despite earning a large fan base in Telugu-speaking regions through numerous dubbed films, he revealed that he had never directed a straight Telugu film until now. He expressed satisfaction, saying that this gap has finally been filled with Game Changer.
Shankar thanked Telugu audiences for their immense love and explained that his desire to reciprocate this affection motivated him to make a direct Telugu film. He expressed gratitude to producer Dil Raju and lead actor Ram Charan for supporting his long-standing wish to work in Telugu cinema.
“This is a complete Telugu film. We ensured that everything, from actors to locations, reflected Telugu culture and traditions. Most of the cast members are Telugu actors, and the majority of the shooting was done in Telugu locations,” Shankar stated.
He further explained the plot, saying, “The core of Game Changer is a battle between a collector and a minister. The story unfolds as the hero’s past intertwines with the main narrative. Ram Charan didn’t just act in this film; he lived the role. His performance was both dignified and deeply moving. I wholeheartedly congratulate Ram Charan for his exceptional acting.”
The director also appreciated the efforts of the film’s cast and crew, including Kiara Advani, Anjali, Srikanth, SJ Suryah, and Naveen Chandra. He extended special thanks to music director Thaman and the entire technical team for their hard work in making the film a solid product.
