MP Raghunandan Rao Questions Telangana State Over Allu Arjun Case

Allu Arjun Case Overblown, Says BJP MP Raghunandan Rao

BJP MP Raghunandan Rao has responded to the stampede incident at Sandhya Theater, alleging that the state government is deliberately exaggerating the issue.

He stated that the case filed against actor Allu Arjun is minor and criticized the government for sidelining the actual security lapses.

Raghunandan Rao claimed that instead of addressing the security failures, the government is solely blaming the actor. He accused the government of making multiple mistakes in an attempt to cover up one error.

The MP questioned how the Commissioner of Police (CP) could release videos related to the incident when Allu Arjun was not even allowed to hold a press meet.

He remarked that the government’s behavior appears vengeful, which he deemed inappropriate.

Raghunandan Rao further alleged that the government is intentionally sensationalizing the case. He pointed out that the court has already granted 30 days of bail, and the police should not act with a vendetta against anyone.
