Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has shattered records with unprecedented ticket bookings. The film achieved 1 million bookings on the online platform BookMyShow at a record pace.
Additionally, Pushpa 2 has surpassed ₹50 crore in collections on its opening day, according to Sacnilk.
The first-day earnings include net domestic collections of ₹35.75 crore, amassed from over 21,000 shows across multiple languages in India.
With just two days remaining for its theatrical release on December 5, the movie is setting new benchmarks daily. Pushpa 2 has already surpassed previous records set by blockbusters like KGF Chapter 2, Kalki 2898 AD, and Baahubali 2.
Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles.
The music rights have been acquired by T-Series. Even before its release, Pushpa 2 has reportedly done business worth ₹1,085 crore, including the sale of theatrical rights for ₹640 crore.
Netflix secured the digital rights for an astounding ₹275 crore.
