In a bizarre incident, a screening of the blockbuster film “Pushpa 2” at Galaxy Theatre in Mumbai was disrupted by a pepper spray attack.
The incident occurred during the interval, sending the audience into a state of panic. Many viewers experienced breathing difficulties and coughing fits due to the sudden exposure to the irritant.
The theatre management was forced to halt the screening for nearly 20 minutes to allow the effects of the pepper spray to subside. The show resumed once the situation was brought under control.
Local authorities have taken cognizance of the incident and have initiated an investigation. Some individuals have been detained for questioning in connection with the attack.
While the exact motive behind the attack remains unclear, speculations suggest that it may have been a deliberate attempt to sabotage the film’s screening.
