The emotional core of the story lies in the promise Jay makes to a young girl—to uncover the truth behind her father’s death. This aspect serves as the emotional connection in the narrative.
The first half focuses mainly on Jay discovering that several deaths believed to be accidents may actually be murders. The film spends considerable time showing his attempts to uncover the truth behind these incidents.
However, these sequences move slowly and fail to create a strong sense of engagement. The narrative pacing becomes stretched, making the first half feel prolonged.
In the second half, the focus shifts to the villain trying to eliminate Jay after realizing that he is investigating the case. Although such situations typically generate suspense, the film struggles to create tension.
Despite concentrating largely on the confrontation between the hero and the villain, the screenplay lacks impactful moments that could have heightened the drama.
Performances
Sri Vishnu appears in a different kind of role compared to his usual comedic characters. However, moving away from his trademark humor somewhat weakens his screen presence in this film.
Reba Monica John plays ACP Seetha. From a physical appearance perspective, the role of a police officer does not completely suit her, though she manages to deliver a decent performance through her expressions and acting.
Veer Aryan plays the antagonist Sadhu. While his performance is adequate, the character itself is written in a routine manner, reducing its impact.
