BJP MP DK Aruna Supports Allu Arjun Amid Sandhya Theater Controversy
BJP MP DK Aruna has alleged that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is mistreating actor Allu Arjun to further his political agenda. She criticized the use of the Sandhya Theatre stampede incident for political gain, stating that such actions are inappropriate, irrespective of whether the individuals involved are film stars, political leaders, or others.
Aruna condemned the alleged arrest of Allu Arjun, harassment of his family, and attacks on his residence as acts of personal vendetta.
DK Aruna visited KIMS Hospital to meet and offer her condolences to Sritej, a victim of the incident. Speaking to the media afterward, she urged the film industry and the state government to support the affected family.
She expressed her wishes for Sritej’s speedy recovery and described the death of Revathi, another victim, as deeply saddening. Aruna stressed the need for measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
She further claimed that the handling of the Sandhya Theatre incident appeared to involve the influence of the Majlis party, with Revanth Reddy responding on their behalf.
Aruna criticized the behavior of the police towards Allu Arjun, calling it unjust. She accused the Congress government of politicizing such events to divert attention from public issues and alleged that law and order had deteriorated under its rule.
Aruna also alleged that the behavior of Congress and Majlis in the Assembly indicates that the two parties are working together.
She called for a thorough examination of the incident and appropriate action to ensure accountability.
