- Verification of SVC Company’s balance sheets and Income Tax Returns (ITRs).
As part of the inquiry, officials escorted Dil Raju’s wife to a bank, signaling further scrutiny of financial transactions.
Major Film Producers and Firms Under IT Scanner
The raids are not limited to Dil Raju. The Income Tax department has also targeted:
- Mythri Movie Makers offices.
- Residences of producers Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar.
- Companies like Mango Media, Satya Rangayya Finance, and Abhishek Agarwal.
Big-Budget Sankranti Films Under Investigation
IT officials are investigating revenues and investments from recent Sankranti festival releases. Particular attention is being paid to:
- Hefty budgets and collections from big-budget Telugu films.
- Financial transactions linked to these releases.
The coordinated operation involves 65 IT teams searching eight locations across the Telugu film industry.
Real Estate Ventures Also Probed
Apart from film-related finances, Dil Raju’s real estate ventures are also under investigation, adding another layer to the ongoing raids.
