Hulu has unveiled the teaser for Chad Powers, a series inspired by Eli Manning’s ESPN+ sketch. Starring Glen Powell as quarterback Russ Holliday, the series showcases his transformation into Chad Powers after his reckless behavior jeopardizes his college football career.
The plot follows Chad as he reinvents himself and joins a struggling Southern football team, bringing fresh energy and camaraderie.
Co-created and executive produced by Powell and Michael Waldron, the series boasts a stellar cast, including Perry Mattfeld, Frankie A. Rodriguez, Steve Zahn, Quentin Plair, and Wynn Everett.
Produced by Adam Fasullo and Waldron, the half-hour show’s release date is yet to be announced.
