Allu Arjun’s Emotional Speech Sets the Tone for Pushpa-2
Hyderabad witnessed a grand celebration as the pre-release event for Pushpa-2: The Rule took place amidst fanfare and excitement.
With its release set for December 5, the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise has already garnered massive anticipation. The event featured heartfelt moments, with lead actor Allu Arjun delivering an emotional speech filled with gratitude, appreciation, and dedication.
“Taggede Le” Spirit Lives On
Opening with his iconic Pushpa dialogue, Allu Arjun declared, “Pushpa… Pushpa Raj… Niyavva Taggede Le!” He emphasized how this spirit defined both the character and the movie’s journey. Thanking his fans, he remarked, “I call my fans my army because of their unwavering love. Without them, I wouldn’t be here.”
Arjun expressed immense gratitude toward producers Ravi Shankar and Naveen, calling their belief in the project vital. “They invested crores into this film and trusted our vision,” he said.
Acknowledging the Team’s Tireless Efforts
Reflecting on the five-year journey behind Pushpa-1 and Pushpa-2, Allu Arjun praised cinematographer Kuba Burzynski, stating, “Kuba, your work is a pride not just for us but for Poland. Words cannot do justice to your talent.” He also highlighted contributions from choreographers Ganesh Acharya, Sekhar, and Prem Rakshith, as well as lyricists like Chandrabose, who helped create the magic of Pushpa.
He reserved special praise for composer Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), sharing, “Devi, ours is a 20-year journey. Your music comes with an extra dose of love for me, and I’m forever grateful.”
Showering Praise on Co-Stars
The actor highlighted the contributions of his co-stars, particularly Fahadh Faasil. “Fahadh’s performance in Pushpa-2 will amaze everyone. He is like a brother to me,” Allu Arjun shared. He also lauded Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Sreeleela, calling her a rising star with immense potential.
Special mention was made of Rashmika Mandanna, who plays Srivalli. “For five years, Rashmika has given her all to this role. Her dedication is inspiring,” he said, recalling grueling schedules where she worked tirelessly to bring Srivalli to life.
A Visionary Director and a Global Spectacle
Reflecting on his association with director Sukumar, Allu Arjun credited him for his success. “Without Sukumar, there is no me. He is the genius behind Pushpa,” he said, acknowledging Sukumar’s vision as the driving force behind the films.
He also highlighted the global scale of Pushpa-2, which will release across 12,000 screens in 80 countries. “This is a festival for us and a proud moment for Indian cinema,” he declared.
A Dedication to the Fans
Allu Arjun concluded his speech by dedicating the film’s success to his fans. “If this movie becomes a hit, it’s because of you. My hard work is for you,” he said, leaving the crowd cheering and emotional.
