Telangana High Court Directs Review of ‘Game Changer’ Special Screenings

Telangana High Court Criticizes Late-Night Shows of ‘Game Changer’

Ram Charan’s latest film ‘Game Changer’, directed by Shankar, hit theaters today. Meanwhile, a hearing regarding the hike in ticket prices and special screenings for the movie took place at the Telangana High Court. During the proceedings, the court made several noteworthy remarks.

The High Court questioned the decision to permit special shows despite the cancellation of benefit shows.

The court specifically pointed out the issue of allowing screenings past midnight and suggested reconsidering such permissions for shows after 1 a.m.

The court directed the Special Secretary of the Home Department to review the matter and issue appropriate instructions.

It also commented that producing big-budget films and recovering the investment through increased ticket prices should not come at the cost of public safety.

In light of these concerns, the court recommended avoiding permissions for benefit shows and special screenings to ensure the safety of moviegoers.

The next hearing on the matter has been scheduled for the 24th of this month.
