‘Shiva Shiva Shankara’ Goes Viral with 80 Million Views and 200K Reels
The song ‘Shiva Shiva Shankara’ from Manchu Vishnu’s upcoming film ‘Kannappa’ has taken social media by storm, emerging as a viral hit. With Maha Shivaratri approaching, the devotional track is resonating widely, breaking multiple online records.
Since its release, the song has amassed over 80 million (8 crore) views across various platforms. On Instagram alone, more than 200,000 reels have been created using the track. Audiences from all age groups, from children to adults, are embracing the trend, sharing their devotion through reels and posts. Social media platforms are now flooded with chants of Lord Shiva, with ‘Shiva Shiva Shankara’ being played and shared extensively.
Expressing his excitement over the song’s phenomenal success, actor-producer Manchu Vishnu stated, “We are overwhelmed by the incredible response to ‘Shiva Shiva Shankara.’ It is heartwarming to see people express their devotion through reels and social media posts. We never expected the song to trend at this scale. With Maha Shivaratri around the corner, its popularity is only set to grow further.”
In ‘Kannappa’, Manchu Vishnu plays the titular role of Kannappa, while Prabhas appears as Rudra, and Akshay Kumar portrays Maha Shiva. The film also features Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, and Kajal Aggarwal in prominent roles. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, ‘Kannappa’ is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on April 25.
