Rashmika Mandanna Addresses Viral Interview Mistake with Humor

National crush Rashmika Mandanna recently issued an apology on social media after realizing a mistake she made during an interview.

She had mentioned that the first film she watched in a theater was Tamil actor Vijay’s Ghilli and expressed her admiration for him, calling him one of her favorites.

During the interview, Rashmika mistakenly said that Ghilli was a remake of the Telugu movie Pokiri. However, it is actually a remake of Okkadu.

This error led to social media users humorously sharing the interview clip, making it viral. Addressing this, Rashmika posted a funny response in Telugu on “X” (formerly Twitter).

“Yes, I realized this after the interview. Sorry! Ghilli is a remake of Okkadu, and Pokiri was remade in Tamil with the same name.

By then, posts about me had already gone viral on social media. Sorry, sorry, my bad! But I genuinely love all the movies they’ve acted in,” she wrote.

On the work front, Rashmika recently appeared in the blockbuster hit Pushpa-2. The movie has grossed over ₹1,500 crores worldwide and is breaking records, particularly in Bollywood.

Currently, Rashmika is enjoying the success of the film and is also busy with projects like Chhava, Sikandar, The Girlfriend, and Kubera.
