₹2 Crore Compensation for Victim’s Family by “Pushpa 2” Team
Hyderabad: The tragic stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre, which claimed the life of Revathi, continues to draw attention. Revathi’s son, Sritej, who was severely injured, is currently undergoing treatment at KIMS Hospital. In a significant gesture of support, the team behind the film Pushpa 2 has come forward to extend substantial financial assistance to the grieving family.
On a visit to KIMS Hospital, Allu Aravind, Dil Raju, and director Sukumar met Sritej and his father to express their condolences and offer moral support.
Speaking to the media afterward, Allu Aravind announced a compensation of ₹2 crore for Sritej’s family. He explained that actor Allu Arjun contributed ₹1 crore, while the film’s producers and director Sukumar each donated ₹50 lakh.
Providing an update on Sritej’s health, Allu Aravind mentioned that Sritej is recovering well and has been taken off the ventilator. The compensation checks totaling ₹2 crore have been handed over to Dil Raju for further disbursement to the family.
