Allu Arjun’s Theater Visit Sparks Debate: Pawan Kalyan Shares Insights
Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan addressed the controversy surrounding Allu Arjun’s alleged arrest and the stampede incident at Sandhya Theater during the “Pushpa 2” premiere on December 4. Speaking with the media in Mangalagiri, he stated, “They turned a minor issue into a major one.”
Pawan clarified he is unaware of what transpired behind the scenes regarding Allu Arjun but emphasized that law applies equally to all and police prioritize safety. He noted that theater staff should have informed Allu Arjun about the situation beforehand or acted more cautiously during the incident.
He also remarked that Allu Arjun should have visited the affected families sooner. Comparing this to past events, he recalled how actor Chiranjeevi used to attend theaters discreetly in disguise to avoid chaos.
Pawan Kalyan also commended Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, calling him a leader who rose from the grassroots and acted responsibly by allowing benefit shows and ticket price hikes, unlike YSRCP’s policies.
