The tragic stampede incident that occurred on December 4 at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad during the ‘Pushpa-2’ premiere show is well-known.
Revathi, a woman caught in the stampede, lost her life, while her 9-year-old son Sritej remains in critical condition.
Allu Arjun had announced financial support of ₹25 lakh to the bereaved family, pledging full assistance. Reports claimed that the family received this amount.
However, Congress rebel leader Bakka Judson stated that Revathi’s family received only ₹10 lakh, not ₹25 lakh as announced.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand mentioned that the Telangana government is covering Sritej’s medical expenses.
