Pavan (Saif Ali Khan) is a sincere, highly disciplined police officer who lives with his father Harihar, brother Dilip, wife Varsha (Rasika Dugal), and son Honey. The family’s life takes a chaotic turn when Pavan’s younger brother, Dilip, elopes with a young woman named Preeti.
Concurrently, a controversial godman named Anand Shree is suspected of being behind the mysterious disappearance of several teenage girls. When Reema, a journalist who exposes the godman’s illegal activities, is shot dead in broad daylight right in front of Pavan, he is shocked to discover that the shooter is a minor named Harpal.
To protect his secrets, Anand Shree dispatches his primary henchman, Nirmal, to eliminate Harpal, while a corrupt police officer named Keshav also hunts for the boy on the godman’s orders. Caught in a web of duties, Pavan secretly hides his brother and Preeti from the vengeful village elders while simultaneously trying to smuggle Harpal out of the city before the godman’s men get to him.
